Over nearly 40 years, Grant's unique approach to client problems has removed complexity and has ensured focus on the critical issues. This has often sped up the process, made it more cost-effective and has diminished client stress. Although he's led more class or group actions than any other NZ practitioner, he brings a wealth of experience in public relations, media, and political lobbying, which has application across a broad suite of professional services. Grant has initiated innovative resolution mechanisms in particular cases, some of which have been currently adapted by government to assist in the Greater Christchurch Recovery.

Richard has extensive experience managing complex litigation, focused on delivering bespoke solutions tailored to meet client needs. Admitted to the New Zealand Bar in 2008, he has been involved in numerous precedent-setting class actions and other forms of group litigation. His experience also spans a comprehensive range of other legal issues, including insurance disputes, privacy law, employment issues, as well as general civil and tort claims. Richard also has a keen interest in legal issues in art and cultural heritage matters.

Jeremy joined GCA Lawyers in 2025 and works on complex litigation, enjoying close and practical engagement with clients.

He brings extensive litigation and court experience, having spent five years as a Registrar and Judicial Support Advisor managing the High Court’s specialist Earthquake List. This background gives him a deep understanding of court processes and the ability to provide clear, practical insight informed by close work with the Judiciary.

After leaving the Court, Jeremy spent a further five years at a boutique general practice specialising in litigation, acting on commercial and contractual disputes, general civil litigation, employment law, relationship property, and estates. He is also happy to assist with Wills and other personal matters.

After over 30 years experience in civil litigation, including at GCA Lawyers where Prue dealt with class actions, she tried out retirement. She missed the work (and fun) and is now back with us again assisting primarily with class actions.

Angela has 20 years legal executive experience, specialising in property, subdivision, sale & purchase of small business, Trusts, Wills & Estate planning and has a pragmatic approach to providing legal services to clients.

Divia’s primary focus at GCA Lawyers is in property. She also has a strong background across a range of practice areas including estates, wills, powers of attorney and family law.
