Drummond v Taranaki Hospital Board

An action brought in Australia over the wrongful administering of a radioactive iodine pill resulting in extreme radiation exposure.

The action was on behalf of a large group of women who suffered cancer misdiagnoses through negligence at Goodhealth Wanganui.

This was a defamation claim brought against the Commissioner after an Assistant Commissioner made false and defamatory comments.

GCA acted for about 55 families who lost loved ones in the Christchurch earthquake of February 2011.
