Drummond v Taranaki Hospital Board

An action brought in Australia over the wrongful administering of a radioactive iodine pill resulting in extreme radiation exposure.

This was a defamation claim brought against the Commissioner after an Assistant Commissioner made false and defamatory comments.

GCA Lawyers successfully defended Van Leeuwen Group’s right to seek court clarification on biosecurity compensation under the Biosecurity Act 1993.

GCA acted for South Island cardiac surgeons (SCI) when the government cancelled their contract to provide cardiothoracic services to patients.
